A Controversial Kit?..and a Freebie

Even as I type this, I wonder how this kit will be received
When I opened this discussion on my private forum, I had not one
single dissension. They were, as always, right beside me cheering me on!

I grew up spending weekends on my Grandmother's "farm"
and sitting on my Grandfather's porch learning to spit and shoot birds with
many a homemade slingshot that he had carved.
Those homes were separate, but they were still very much different than
the "city" life I lead sitting on the beach most days of the year.

They both filled freezers full of garden and wild stock. This meant that
not only could I expect a chicken that ran around the yard in the am to
appear on my plate that evening, but often there would be a deer stew
that may make an appearance. I never knew the "difference" in that meat and
those packages in our freezer until I was well into high school and mentioned
some deer jerky I had been munching and was met with my first taste of
"meat prejudice"...hahahahahahaha!

I hope this kit is received with the taste that I tried to create.
It may not be for you, but if it is...I hope you are able to scrap some of your
own camping and hunting stories. They are very much a tradition that
I believe can be scrapped in style and taste.

Here are some of the fabulous pages my friends created for us
Please be advised there are some photos that may considered graphic

Sorry, expired

The kit is on SALE for 20% OFF this weekend!

Thank you in advance for not posting any negative comments as
they are not necessary and our scrap hobby should be a positive thing
despite any difference in opinions we may have.

~ Enjoy ~

Oh I certainly hope no one posts negative comments. I think it's a wonderful kit, alot of people across the world hunt and eat wild game and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Great job on the kit, absolutely love it.

The kit is gorgeous - not just for hunting, but for many outdoors activities, camping, for instance. If i had space, i'd tell you a very funny story about the first dog that owned me - a Springer spaniel who was a "natural" hunting dog, except that my dad had taught him not to chase the chickens - you can imagine what happened when daddy & friends went pheasant hunting one fall... Anyway, you are correct that no one should judge others on the basis of whether they eat meat or prefer vegetables. i don't think i would enjoy hunting, but if i needed to do it for survival, i could. The kit is gorgeous, and thank you for the free alpha.

This kit is TOTALLY awesome and I was excited about the alpha, but the link isn't working for me?? It gives me a 404 error. Maybe it's just traffic - I'll keep trying :)

Some really lovely memories. And while they sound wonderful, I'd pretty much just like to be sitting on your beach! ROTFL Thanks for the alpha - the kit is great!

I don´t care what people eat, as long as the animals are treated kindly. What I can´t understand is why people think that chase and terrify a defensless animal to kill it is funny.
